This morning, the water was cold and rainy, with no spectacular sunrise, and pint-sized surf, but the whales made it all worthwhile! Just Dean (left) and I (right), and a couple aquatic friends. Life in these Islands can sure be magical!
When you paint as many mini's as I do, it can sometimes be a challenge to find new subject matter. The past few weeks, I decided to give my brain a rest, and instead chose some of my favorite mini scenes to recreate again.

Well, 2015 has flown by, but I was again lucky to have filled it with two of my favorite things - painting & surfing.
I have had a very rewarding year and would like to send out a heartfelt MAHALO to each and every one of you who support my art -- I couldn't have done it without you. It sure is a fun and creative journey!
Here is another "Dream Hale". It is my interpretation of a cute little plantation style hale (house), nestled deep in a lush tropical setting, complete with palm trees, mountain waterfalls, and the all important moa (chickens). You can't have an authentic Old Hawaii Plantation House without a few moa running amok!
