MAUNALUA BAY PLEIN AIR

Spent a great afternoon painting at Maunalua Bay. It’s quite a peaceful place with great views. Many people enjoy fishing or outrigger canoeing here after a day of work. I did learn a valuable lesson though. Don’t go paint here if all you had for lunch was a measly yogurt. I was pretty hungry and was directly across the street from Roy Yamaguchi’s famous Hawaii Kai restaurant. The smoking keawe wood cooking up some fantastic smelling dishes for the evening was pure torture!
