"Makapu'u On My Mind"
8x10 Palette Knife Painting

Driving along the east side of Oahu, from Sandy Beach towards Kailua, you climb the hill, come around the bend, and are instantly rewarded with one of the most stunning views on this Island. The Makapu’u coastline with Rabbit Island standing out among the most beautiful turquoise water makes my heart jump every time! With white foaming surf rolling into the shore, and the swaying palm trees lining the beach park, this is a view I never tire of no matter how many times I drive this road. It is truly spectacular!

"Makapu’u On My Mind" is an 8 x 10 original oil palette knife painting.

MAHALO for taking the time to view my artwork.

I love the way you handle a palette knife, Lisa! The solidity and dimension of the wonderful rock island contrasted with the energy of the waves is truly stunning in this piece.
