Last month, I spent a few days plein air painting around the Wawamalu area on the south shore of Oahu.

This beautiful scenery remained in my head as I started my next studio painting. I let my imagination create a little slice of tropical bliss in “My Secret Lagoon”.
It is fun to think that maybe at one time there could have been a peaceful scene like this around Wawamalu.
