A PAW-SITIVE ATTITUDE

My little Superhero and the lesson he is teaching me.

I wish I could say that Brighton's new Rex Specs are just for looks, but that is not the case (although he does look pretty dang cute in them).

Bry is now 15 years old, and is dealing with degenerative iris atrophy, where his muscle can no longer constrict his pupil to protect from letting too much light in. He must now wear these goggles in any type of bright light.

Fortunately, he seems to love them and I have no trouble
getting him to wear them.

In the past two years, he has had quite a few age-related challenges, and has not only accepted and adapted to them, but ALWAYS does it with a positive attitude! He never gets down or depressed at what he can no longer do, he just deals with it in his own decisive way.

He amazes us every single day with this decided approach to life, something that I am trying to learn by his example.

This boy has taught me so much in our years together. He is the littlest, BIGGEST LOVE OF MY LIFE, my hero, my SUPERBRY!
